“Apart from the rain our special day can only be described as magical and it will be one to remember for the rest of our life. The surroundings and setting of the Marquee in the grounds at Parley Manor were truly magnificent and we couldn’t have chosen a better Venue.
As we walked across the lawn to the red carpet and our guests we could hear Simon’s arrangement of “The Wedding March” and by now we really felt that this was it.
During the signing of the Register we had requested “From this Moment” and Simon played this beautifully. I’m afraid by now all our emotions had really kicked in!
As we walked out of the Marquee Simon played another of our requests “You’re just too good to be true”
Simon continued playing as our guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn and photographs were taken.

“What a great time we all had at our Mum’s Birthday Party held recently. Everything went as planned with Mum being suitably surprised with all her friends and family gathered together to celebrate this special occasion.
Thank you so much for your contribution in making the evening a success and for ‘playing all the right notes in the right order.’ You played any requests that were made including many melodies that brought back so many memories from her teenage years. We enjoyed music from the Shows, the Big Band era, a touch of blues, and even Andrew Lloyd Webber – it seemed your Repertoire was endless and you were able to please everyone’s taste in music and song.
We will certainly be recommending you to others and will definitely book you again should we organise another event – perhaps even Mum’s 100th, that’s assuming your fingers still work!

I personally found it a pleasure indeed to work with Simon who creates an atmosphere unique in my experience. Not only can he play classical but can also inject humour and laughter into the event. Besides personality I also thought that because Simon was not on a stage and often stood up and spoke, he seemed to be much more 'part of the family party' and approachable. I will look forward to working with you again one day.

Wendy and I were absolutely amazed and pleased with your work ( or is it play) on Saturday Night. I have for many years, been involved in organising and / or attending various functions. In my experience I have not come across any professional who is so well in tune with his audience. Your range of skills, matching of music to mood and general willingness to be a part of the occasion and not just the hired help is an attribute that I could not identify in many others.
Wendy was so pleased and I am sure your ‘interludes’ brightened the whole meal and kept the guests entertained and ‘lively’. They then went on to enjoy the rest of the evening. All who have spoken to me since Saturday night have praised your involvement.
