Biography

Simon has been playing Piano since the age of 10 and was picking out notes and tunes long before his Mother insisted he had proper Music lessons and learnt to read.

His very first public appearance was 8 years later in the Summer of 1963 when he played in one of the Lounges and during Band breaks at Butlins in Skegness (possible photo) This gave him his first opportunity to learn the trade and gain valuable experience in how to perform in front of an audience.

For 35 years of his life he trained and worked in the Catering Industry, 25 of those years in Hotel Management. As well as learning the trade it taught him the art of Communication. But MUSIC WAS ALWAYS HIS FIRST LOVE and if there was ever the opportunity of playing the Piano or joining in with the Band he would be there.
